Inspiration!

So every now and again I love to go and buy a fashion magazine full of photography that I can gain inspiration from. I have always wanted to work for a magazine, preferably a fashion magazine as my favoured genre, as your work is published for everyone to see! I usually go for either Elle or Vogue as the obviously options, but this week I decided to go for 'Glamour' as it was on a special offer at half price. Fortunately it didn't disappoint. After flicking through, it actually appeared that this magazine was more use than I first thought, displaying all sorts of interesting photography and inspiration I can take and keep for personal future photo shoots.

The images above are of 3 different photo shoots taken within this magazine and I picked my favourite image from each one. All of them stand out for me with the use of natural light being a technique I can relate to as a personal love of mine. But also the simplicity of the studio lighting in the middle image, creating the shadows on specific areas perfectly which makes that image really stand out for me! I know most people would flick by these images and just look at the clothing (which is what the magazine is advertising!) but for those who have a photographic eye I think they are brilliant to keep as inspiration which you can look back at at any time and to also know the standard at which photographers are at at this current time.
