About a week ago, I had a spare evening so decided to ask one of my friends if she wanted to do an evening photo shoot with me. And she said yes!! So I popped over to hers to her pick out an outfit for her whilst we discussed the location of the shoot. Fortunately it was a lovely sunny evening, which made a change to earlier in the day where it was dull and rainy, so I thought id go out and make the most of the sunshine before the winter arrives!
Our decided location was Hardenhuish Church, which is only about a 5 minute drive over the other side of town where I live which was very convenient and seemed like the perfect setting on such a beautiful evening! Set up on top of a little hill, this church has a lot of history behind it, even my great grandparents are buried in the church graveyard! So for my first time visiting and not just driving past it, it was a very exciting shoot for me to do.
Below is the view I had of the lovely church from the public footpath. This image has not been edited.
After we admired the church for a little while, we got down to shooting! Luckily the church was closed, so I was able to shoot wherever I wanted to. I shot at the front, round the sides and right round the back of the church. I have used my model Zara for many different shoots so we both contributed to different poses and how I wanted her to stand etc. So below are some of my favourite images which I am VERY proud of, from the fun filled evening we had shooting at such a beautiful, beautiful place!
