On Sunday evening, my dad and I went for an evening stroll around Bowood golf course. My dads a member so he said it was very picturesque and that the course is very beautiful! So I decided to take my camera with me and he was right, it was the perfect place for photo opportunities. I'm used to taking a model to a location, so I swayed away from my usual photography for this specific shoot. Because the path leads you round the golf course, it sort of restricts you from getting the best views, and in my case, the best images I could get! So there we were, walking across the golf course, which spread across acres and acres of spectacular land. Deep down I am quite a big fan of landscape photography, which I started out doing before branching off into other genres, so this was me sort of going to back to what I used to love doing. I enjoyed my evening thoroughly.
Capturing the beautiful lake with reflections of the sunset in the water
I love the little pockets of red-ish light outlining the dark silhouette of the building in this image, paired against the light blue sky in the background, I think really makes this image very strong within the body of work.
Again, another image I am very proud of, capturing it just before the sun set.
My dad and I had a lot of fun exploring this area of Bowood, walking for atleast an hour around the perfectly preserved peaceful golf course, spotting wildlife such as dear, birds, wild rabbits and even owls! Although the dear were too quick for me and my camera to capture! I had a very interesting evening and I am overly happy with the images that I produced :)
